Picks by use case

If cashback comes first

KAST

Why we pick it

  • Cashback is paid in USD, not a volatile token.
  • The Standard tier has no annual fee and no staking.
  • No FX fee on USD payments.

Watch out for

  • Standard earns 1.5% only on the first $2,000 a month — max $30.
  • Higher rates (2%, 3%) need a $1,000 or $10,000 annual fee.
  • Non-USD payments carry a 0.5–1.75% FX fee.
  • Depositing volatile coins triggers a sell spread; ATM is $3 + 2%.
  • Custodial account; availability in Korea must be checked officially.

Ether.fi Cash

Why we pick it

  • 3% on the first $2,000 of spend on the Core tier.
  • Borrow Mode lets you pay against collateral.
  • Built on a non-custodial Safe wallet.

Watch out for

  • Rate drops to 1% above $2,000 and 0.5% above $3,000.
  • Higher tiers require ETHFI staking.
  • Borrow Mode can be liquidated if collateral falls.
  • 1% FX fee; top-up fees not disclosed officially.
